Vita
Prof. Dr.-Ing. Christian Lins graduated from Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences with a degree in Media Informatics, followed by a Master's degree in Computer Science - Distributed and Mobile Applications, also from Osnabrück University of Applied Sciences. He completed his PhD at the Carl von Ossietzky University of Oldenburg in 2020.
From 2013 to 2020 he worked as a researcher at the OFFIS Institute in the Department of Health. From 2020 to 2021, he led the establishment of the Connected Health R&D group at the Fraunhofer Institute for Digital Media Technology IDMT in Oldenburg. Christian Lins has been a professor at HAW Hamburg since 2021 and is responsible for the teaching area "Program Engineering as well as Algorithms and Data Structures".
He is a member of the ACM Special Interest Group on Genetic and Evolutionary Computation, the German Association for Medical Informatics, Biometry and Epidemiology (GMDS), and OFFIS e.V..
